Street Art

I took another group of students to see Melbourne's street art.

Apples Boxes and Barrels

St Andrew's Market

Last Saturday, I got up at the crack of dawn with my brother and his girlfriend to sell my Japanese goodies.

I was selling my prints pouches and magnets.

And some fabric and kokeshi dolls.

I'll be back there in March to sell a larger range of Kokeshi dolls.

Jo invited a few of us over for the "Piano Dismantling For Arts Sake" on Sunday.

Sketch Wednesday

I'm drawing again..
For some reason, I like drawing faces. However, I need MORE practice drawing bodies.

Usually, I just begin drawing which results in a face appearing on paper. But this time I found some models to use instead.
(Thanks to Google images)

Completed Pouches

Now I just need to make some tags for them.

Gippsland Day Trip

We did a bit of a self drive food tour around Gippsland today.

Our first stop was Clearview Farm. From the information I found here, the place had a restaurant, free range poultry and grew organic apples...when we arrived, we found out that was four years ago. Now, the place is just a B&B. However, the owners were nice enough to let us walk around their property.

As we walked around exploring the farm, we made a friend with a cat who followed us everywhere...The cat was so cute and affectionate that I wanted to take it home.

Our next stop was Sunny Creek Fruit and Berry Farm, which grows and sells organic berries and Jams. I purchased two kilos of berries. Can you guess what I'm going to make with them...? JAM!!! That should keep me busy tomorrow.

Lastly, we went to visit a cheese deli/restaurant, only to find it had changed hands and was now a Spanish themed restaurant.

Despite a mostly cloudy day, we saw some truly beautiful scenery. It was also nice to do something different for a change.
